Studio Production and Facilities
Media City Studios operates multiple studio environments supported by professional lighting grids, flexible configurations, and experienced technical teams delivering broadcast-grade outcomes across live, scripted, and entertainment formats.

Media City Studios provides channel playout services across eighteen independently operated channels, managed through a secure Master Control Room.
Playout capability includes:

- Broadview scheduling
- Ninety-day compliance recording across all channels
This environment supports continuous broadcast operations and live studio integration.
Connectivity and Operational Continuity
The facility supports fibre connectivity to broadcasters and LiveU capability for outside broadcasts.
Operational continuity is supported through:
- Backup power systems
- UPS-backed critical infrastructure
Media City Studios is centrally located in Randburg, enabling efficient access for production crews and logistics.

Media City Studios offers broadcast-grade studio and control room equipment, including lighting, cameras, grip equipment, and production systems.
Equipment can be supplied as full turnkey studio solutions or customised configurations aligned to specific production requirements.
Core equipment currently in use includes:
- HD Panasonic camera chains
- HD Sony camera chains
- PTZ HD dome cameras with network control
- Yamaha digital audio mixing consoles with Dante capability
- RTS studio communications systems with wireless integration
- Jib systems ranging from 3m to 12m
